Devastation in Louisiana

af-flood-compLast weekend, torrential rains swept over southern Louisiana, leaving four
Anytime Fitness locations completely inoperable:

  • Albany, LA | Norman & Mallory Bonck
  • Denham Springs, LA | Phil Sondes
  • Robert, LA | Tracie & Jimmie Spallino
  • Walker, LA | Kenny & Tina Knaps

Disasters like these are completely unpredictable: none of the affected clubs
had flood insurance, making them especially vulnerable to this circumstance.

On the Road to Recovery

This devastation affects not only the brick-and-mortar of our Anytime Fitness clubs—it extends into the personal lives of these communities: their homes, families, friends, and members.

They Need Your Help!

It’s in times like these we need to pull together to help our our Anytime family. We’re asking you to help aid us in rebuilding the lives of these franchisees, together. Just as they work in their business every day—alongside friends and family—to help impact their communities, we need to do the same.

Each franchisee has set up a GoFundMe account, looking to help raise money to go toward:

  • Equipment replacement
  • Reconstruction
  • Reopening
  • Lost wages
  • Lost income from membership fees
  • Moving/storage costs

Not only will you be helping these folks, you’ll be helping their families (many of which are also Anytime Fitness employees), and members. Thousands of members have been displaced among the four impacted clubs: these funds will help them get back into their clubs faster.

Contribute to the Cause

We have asked the franchisees to set up individual GoFundMe accounts. Each franchisee has set a goal for their club. Chuck and Dave are making a contribution and are encouraging anyone who would like to do the same to visit their individual pages. Share their page links on Facebook and Twitter to spread the word.
